With a ritual smoking ceremony, indigenous ingredients sourced straight from down under and an imported chef from Melbourne, Aussie Bush tucker was as authentic as it can get around this hemisphere! Lamb chops, sausages and corn on the cob on the barbie accompanied crocodile and emu jerky and the only true Aussie dessert – the pavlova! All this set on the promenade in St Annes at the Water’s Edge Cafe. A DJ and an impromptu guitar and sing song from the chef made this a night to remember. A bit of boogying ended this Bush tucker Barbie with a bang!
